Traditionally, the central theme of photography becomes a person and his environment, the author constantly, with varying degrees of detachment, looks into the mirror of the Man and society. This work aims to observe the life of one of the oldest representatives of a consortium of organisms on earth of non-human origin, the main source of all the planet's oxygen - cyanobacterial mat and its derivatives.

The result of this observation is a visual series. These images are hardly perceived as connected to each other without knowing who their main character is. Human intuition, with its anthropocentricity, excludes non-human agents from the zone of visual sensation. This time I would like to include one of these agents, especially one who was and remains the first source of oxygen-dependent life on Earth.
